Tips For Gal Spring Styles

Hey guys! So I felt kinda bad about making a "no content" post early today (er, yesterday), so I decided to make up for it with this post!

So, many if not all of my followers are Western gals. And as such, we don't have as great access to the fabulous 109 brands and the like that are so popular with the gal's of Japan. So how do we pull it off without busting all our hard earned cash on brands and expensive shopping services?

We buy local of course!

But sometimes it can be hard to find things that are "gal-able" in your local shops and malls. You'll look at something and question it's gal-ability. And even if can totally work into a gal wardrobe, you'll put down that great item because it doesn't look like an exact replica of something you saw in Liz Lisa's catalog (for example). And nobody wants to do that!

And obviously, depending on the style of gyaru you are into, the trends are obviously different. But I'm making a list of general trends that can be seen on Popteen, Ageha and JELLY, for example. Anyways, on to the list!

  • floral prints and accessories
  • Western/Cowgirl themes
  • combinations of white and brown
  • fringe on boots/purses/clothing
  • ruffles
  • girly rock
  • military style
  • menswear shirt dresses
  • scarves
  • bangles and bracelets
  • long dresses
  • denim shirts
  • studs
After looking through the newest issues of a couple magazines, I've seen these recurring trends regardless of whether it's sweet styles or more rock styles. Anyways, you can find a lot of these trending items in stores like Forever 21, Zara, H&M, and Urban Behaviour (depending on which stores are available in your area). Not too long ago, I did a post on great finds in F21, and you can find loads of stuff there, for not too bad prices.

And If I recall correctly, Zara has some fabulous lace shorts, fringe bags and very Liz Lisa like items. It's all about looking! So once you've honed your looking skills, you'll be a smart shopper in no time.

Anyways, I just realized how late it's getting, and I have three performances of my schools Black History Month assembly to do tomorrow. Good day to you all!

EDIT: I will be making a follow up post, that will include links to stores, etc. Sorry for any confusion! Hopefully I will have this post done by the end of today! Thanks again for reading, love you all! :)

I will be linking to this in my next weekly wrapup (for gyaru/japan styled things). Hope you don`t mind, just want to spread the love!
