We went to Markham's Pacific Mall and downtown Toronto! I'll start this post with a few pictures from out hotel room in Toronto, and then talk a little bit about our day.
Anyways, we went to Pacific Mall in Markham first on our trip. This was my first time going to Pacific Mall, which is known as one of North America's largest Asian malls. Which meant one thing to me; lots of cute clothes and make up.
Anyways, this place is HUGE. It's three floors, but all the shopping is on the second floor. The first floor has one cosplay-y shop and parking, and the third floor is mostly food and one clothing store.
Anyways, most of the clothing stores had tons of cute clothes for cheap! But it wasn't til about half way into our shopping excursion that I found a gold mine...
A WHOLE STORE PACKED WITH 109 AND OTHER GAL BRANDS!! I basically died. The store was called VC VANCO, and I thought they had a website but they don't. Anyways. They had MA*RS, Lip Service, Delyle, one spo, Cecil McBee, Spiral Girl, Liz Lisa, tons and tons and tons of stuff! And most of it was fairly recent, a lot I recognized from Winter '09. The prices weren't great, and I had already bought my new Cecil McBee poncho-hoodie from another store (only $30!!), so I was so miffed to not be able to buy anything! But rest assured, I will be going back there one day.
VC VANCO actually has two stores in the mall, located fairly close to each other, but the second one has more AmeKaji and Haady style stuff. But that's where I bought my Tokyo Disney hat, shown in a few of the pictures above!
They also had 1923012039819203019287 stores that sold nail/cellphone deco packs, which was awesome, but also out of my price range. Their "purikura" store was kinda lame. We didn't go in. They also sold HUGE sheets of eyelashes! But I didn't buy any, and I'm really questioning why not.
Anyways, we also went to the Eaton Centre in downtown Toronto, but nothing new and fantastic there. Same old, same old. Super cute bathing suits at H&M that were in April's issue of JELLY though!
I really like the one that Maiko is wearing (bottom right corner), it's super cute! H&M's selection of bathing suits is actually quite nice, and it's all very marine like. Which makes sense. They are bathing suits after all.
Anyways, here's my two outfits from the weekend! I really wanted to wear my boots, but I can't for little while for two reasons: 1) I have a slight foot injury that is worsened when I wear them or any other heel, and 2) I'm starting pointe relatively soon, and would like to keep my feet uninjured for a while. But really, that's not relevant, so I'm going to stop talking about it.
I really hated having to wear sneakers and legwarmers with this. Really.

I only have been to the Pacific Mall ONCE since moving here (eleven months ago) and was only there for an hour and a half. ; ~; '' I'll definitely have to go back there and check out that store you were talking about !~
ReplyDeleteAn hour and a half mission from where I live will be a journey, but I'm sure I'll save A LOT of money shopping there then ordering everything online !
I never knew there was a circle in Ontario either. That's pree cool !~ C: Also, your outfits are very cute ! I love your bear hat. @__@ <3
