Quick question!

Hey guys! So, I recently got a new laptop for school (yay!), which means I can get back to blogging on a more regular basis! I just did a pretty big shopping trip on the weekend, including a lot of awesome fall pieces, and I'm planning on doing a Fall Haul post soon. But before I do, I want some input from my readers!

Would you guys rather me do the post as a traditional blog post on here, or as a vlog? I can do a bit of both as well if that's what you guys would prefer. But let me know soon, and I'll try to take pics/film before the end of the week!

Recent Gets + Style Inspiration!

Howdy y'all! So I'm officially into my third week of summer vacation, and I am thoroughly enjoying it :3 I know this is no excuse for my lack of postage, but I've just been a very laxy TV watching butt for the last couple of days while I recuperated from all the grad parties I've been attending :< hahaha. So far I've rewatched all of Avatar: The Last Airbender, finished off Legend of Korra and Game of Thrones, and just recently started watching Community! All very good, if you haven't watched Game of Thrones yet, I highly recommend it!! *w* It's excellent!

Anyways, onto the main point of this post: some recent summer-y gets! If you follow my Tumblr (which you all should, I blog much more frequently on there, although it's significantly more personal), you'll know I've been heavily influenced by the Pastel Goth style recently! A friend and I have actually started our own Pastel Goth blog, which you can follow here if you're interested!

(Truly) Daily Style + Cosplay Progress!

Hey y'all! It sure has been a while since I last blogged :P I can't even say I've been very busy, just a little bit lazy! Haha. I guess you can say I've been a little busy getting ready for proms, since I am a senior this year! And I was asked to two proms in addition to my own school's, so it's been a little stressful trying to prepare for all of those as well as Anime North! I had my first prom last weekend, but my camera's battery wasn't charged so I didn't take any pictures myself ; ^ ;. Thankfully, other people did! I'll post a few pics at the end of this post for those who are interested :3

Anyways, usually when I do a Daily Style post, it's more like a staged daily style than what I truly wear on a day-to-day basis. Meaning that it's usually an outfit for a special occasion or something. But recently I've been trying to take more pictures of my actual daily style to show on my blog, since this is definitely becoming more of a personal blog :P

Anyways, I have two outfits today to show you! (P.S. I am trying out new locations in my room to take outfit pictures, so bear with me! xD)

Both of these outfits were quite simple in essence, but I really like them! The first one I wore for dinner yesterday (Mother's day!), and the second one I wore to run errands after school today. These are truly outfits that I wear every day :P I was really happy with the second one :D I quite like it, and those are the first pair of high waisted shorts that didn't make me look like an old man, which is AWESOME.

I'm going to try and remember to take pictures of my outfits everyday now, or at least a few times a week so I can do more posts like this! What do you guys think?

And now on to cosplay news! Anime North is approaching VERY quickly (almost too quickly), and I've just started working on my costumes. Yeah. Go me. King of the slackers. Anyways, I finished my Matryoshka Gumi sweater the other day, which if you follow me on Tumblr or my FB fan page you would have seen already! Here are a couple pics in case you don't.

Yay for being cheesy! Anyways, that's done, and pretty much the only other thing I need for this cosplay are striped stockings, which I can buy easily. This was 90% closet cosplay for me, considering all I had to do was stitch the details on the hood! :P But at least it's done now!

Melty however, I have barely even started =_______=;; I've cut some patterns and I've got all my fabric and what not, I just need to start sewing like a mad man now!! And I still need more lace and some notions for the accessory bits. I am super pleased to know that the anime version of Melty does NOT have the ribbon wraps on her gloves or stockings, so I will most likely be omitting those details for now. I'll probably add them after Anime North though, because I want to try and go to FX or some other summer con this year, and I'll probably just re-wear Melty if I do!

I got my contact lenses in the mail today as well, JUST in time! :D I'll probably do a review of them soon, I need to buy new contact solution though :P

Art & Daily Style!

Hey y'all! So today I wanted to post about whats been preoccupying the vast majority of my time lately! I alluded to it being a photography project, and a photography project it is! But its also a combination between photography and sculpture! So here's what I've been working on!

Yes, its a photosculpture of my Jeffery Campbell Litas! This was my photography project for my media class this year, and I am quite happy with my result! It got lots of good comments from the viewers in the gallery, which was really nice for me! 

Basically what I did was carve and shape a model of my shoe on a 1.5:1 scale (approx. 18"x18"x6") out of pink foam, and then take hundreds of macro photos of my shoe and all the details of it and then collaged them onto the model, attaching the photos with Dressmakers pins. 

It took approximately 3.5 weeks to carve and shape the model, and then another week or so to photograph and attach all of the pictures to the model, so it took me a total of just over a month to complete! I am very satisfied with my work, although there are still some touch up to be made.

As well, I wore this outfit to go to the Closing Show at the gallery!

It was a somewhat simple outfit since I only had about 15 minutes to throw something together after a fitting for a modelling gig I got, but I quite liked my result! It felt artsy enough to be an artist at a gala, but fancy enough to go out for dinner afterwards! And of course, I had to wear my Litas to show off my Lita sculpture :P Anyways, here's a couple of other photos from the night.

Anyways, now that its getting nicer out, I feel more inclined to really try with my outfits! So I'm definitely going to try and post more outfit shots more often! I also want to do a Spring gets post as well, so hopefully that will be coming soon! In the mean time, look at these pretty tulips from the park near my house!

Happy Easter!

Hey y'all! Just wanted to drop by and wish all those celebrating a Happy Easter! :D I took this opportunity to camwhore in a cute somewhat Easter-themed outfit, but most of the pictures turned out crappy ; ^ ; So I just have a couple of photos to share today!

Not really Easter-themed, but I had the ears anyways :P So I figured, why not! But I did get that dress recently and I'm super in love with it :D It has a super cute cutout in the back too! Unfortunately you can't see it, but I might do a Spring GETS post soon and I'll show it off then!

Also, I'm going to try harder to take more pictures of my outfits daily, since I do wear some pretty cute stuff some times :3 So let's hope this works out!

And I finally cut the bangs into my silver Melty wig this weekend :3 I'm super happy with the results! I was super nervous as I didn't want to mess it up and then have to order another wig :| Now I just need to trim up my Gumi wig!

Anyways, I do have something else I want to blog about soon, but I've yet to take any pictures of it! So hopefully sometime this week!

Major Hair Change! :O

Hey guys! So I'm sorry I've been a terrible blogger lately :( As some of you may or may not know, I was participating in my schools production of Phantom of the Opera (which was an incredible success, as we completely sold out all 17 of our shows!), and then the week after we finished I spent everyday catching up on all of the school work I missed, which included 6 chemistry and biology classes =____=;;. But I'm coming to the end of my spring break now, and I'm quite well rested and ready to talk about a big change thats happened to me recently!

I am absolutely in love with it :D I think it was an awesome choice, although I may be regretting it in a month or so, but I honestly don't even care. I've had to deal with so many people staring, but I expected that and I'm kind of used to it already, haha. Only downside is that I can only wash my hair with cold water now :( BLAH.

I haven't really had anything important to blog about lately because I've been so busy, but hopefully things will pick up now that I'm less occupied! Cosplay posts will definitely become more frequent as I (finally) start working on my cosplays for Anime North! :D

Daily Style: Florals! (+ some gets)

Hey y'all! So today was my first day off form rehearsal in a very long while, and I've been taking great advantage of it by sleeping a relaxing all day! I also did a little bit of shopping this afternoon as well, and I'll show you a couple of my gets in a bit! Hello everyone, and Happy New Year once again!

Today's post is going to talk about my holidays! I've been meaning to make posts all throughout the holiday season, but I haven't had the time until now, and it will be much more succinct if I just do it all in one post! So let's get started!

Firstly, I'll talk about the completion of one of my 12x12 goals, which was making a gingerbread house! Every year, my best friend's family holds this MASSIVE gingerbread house building competition. And believe me, this thing is serious. Everyone spends 5-6 hours constructing very over the top gingerbread houses! I can't find my picture of it, but the winners of the competition this year made a gingerbread house cattle farm. A WHOLE FARM! It took a up a whole table by itself! Anyways, here's some photos of my teams construction!

Daily Style: New boots!

I haven't done a daily style post in quite some time, but now that I have a new camera, I've been much more motivated to record my day-to-day casual outfits and post them! And I just recently got some new boots, which I've been absolutely in love with, and trying to coordinate as much as possible!

They are from the Simply Vera by Vera Wang line, which I purchased at Kohl's! I'd never really shopped at a Kohl's before this, and I was thoroughly impressed with the brands and prices they had available! I will definitely be shopping there again soon!! Now, onto the outfits!

Bought the scarf and cords recently as well! I've been on the hunt for really nice corduroy pants for a really long time, and I really love these ones! So comfy and a really nice colour too :3 This was just a simple outfit for school, but I really like it! :D

Wore this outfit on Remembrance day (as you can see from the poppy on the lapel of my sweater). Didn't really have any particular inspiration for this outfit, I was in a bit of a retro girly mood that morning I guess. Loved this outfit all the same! 

I'm trying to post more often, but between school, having a weak immune system, and my new job, its been tough! Hopefully things will start to slow down a bit so I can blog more! There are still so many things I want to blog about!! ;_;

Halloween!

Hey everyone! So as promised, I am going to share some of my Spirit Week/Halloween photos with you guys! I meant to put them up sooner, but you know how life is sometimes. A pain in the butt. Anyways, here are some of the photos!

Daily Style: Let's catch up!

Hey everyone! So I'm about half way through my summer break now (IT GOES BY SO FAST D:), and currently vacationing at my grandparents house in New Brunswick! It's so lovely here, compared to the heat waves in Southern Ontario where I'm from :( But I digress!

So, as of very recently, I've noticed a change in my style. And I've decided I no longer have the right to call my self a gyaru. Maybe gyaru inspired, but I'm no longer gyaru. I rarely wear my lashes or do up my hair, and even if I do, its hardly up to par with other gyaru. So I've officially un-labelled myself as a gyaru. My style is more gyaru inspired than anything else. And that will also be the direction this blog goes in as well. I will still be posting about gyaru fashion, etc, but I will also be talking about more of my personal life and other things I do, like dance and cosplay, since they are also a big part of my life. I thank each and every one of you for staying with me as long as you have!

Personal Panda: Almost done!

Hey everyone! So, in just a few more days, my hiatus will officially be over! WOO! I had my Chemistry exam today, and I totally aced it! So I'm allowing myself to blog a little bit before I return to studying for my Physics exam, which I am fairly certain I am not going to do very well on (´；ω；`)


I finally got a new cellphone, and it actually takes quite nice photos! So I can take photos on the go now, which I find to be very convenient! Here's a collection of snaps from the last few weeks that I have been on hiatus:

Wearing new Bambi Apple Green lenses in the first photo, review coming soon! And a dress I wore my sisters birthday. The makeup in the first photo is pretty much what I've been doing everyday for the last little while.

Bought a really comfy cotton romper! Also, my school has been extraordinarily hot the last few weeks, sometimes reaching 40 degrees Celsius INDOORS!! So I've become quite attached to that top-knot hairstyle for the especially hot days. I also purchased a FANTASTIC coral lipstick (worn in second photo), and I want to do a whole post on it! I will try :D

It was finally nice enough to go out on my dad's boat a few weekends ago, it was very nice! I am a very good boat driver ヽ(´▽`)/ I also had a bonfire with some friends, we made s'mores and it was really fun! I love having bonfires in the summer, it's by far one of my most favourite things to do.

The previous photos are the two ways I spend time in during study periods: sleeping, and making paper crane farms! I know, very productive, right? You'll be glad to know that I rocked the exam for the class I was sleeping in, hahaha!

Anyways, that's all the photos I have for today! But I am changing my hair colour next week, so please look forward to it! I won't be revealing the colour yet, as I myself don't even know what I'm doing with it, but the appointment is booked, so it's happening! I honestly have more roots than a tree right now =_______=;;

New York City (photos + daily style + gets!)

Hey everyone! First of all, Happy (belated) St. Patricks Day! I was going to post that yesterday, but I was pretty busy getting ready for festivities. Secondly, I am back from my trip to New York City! If you've never been to NYC, you need to go. Everything is awesome there. This was my first trip to New York, and it definitely won't be my last :D

I did way more shopping than I should have while I was there, but honestly, how could I not. The shopping in NYC is some of the best I've ever seen. I went to 4 different F21s, and 2 H&Ms! It was soo nice! But anyways, lets start with some pictures of my trip~

Daily Style: Semi-formal!

Hello everyone! I'm quite out of sorts today, for multiple reasons. Firstly, it started snowing again after like, 4 days of no more snow!! And secondly, last night was my semi-formal, of which I am very fond! It's basically like a junior prom thing, for those of you who don't know.

They theme this year was Candyland, But I don't know how well I pulled off the theme?

Since the theme was Candyland, we kind of tried to match our dresses to candies. I said I would probably be candy hearts since the pattern on my dress is hearts, and Leah was candy canes or peppermints. Both dresses are mine, the one I'm wearing is from H&M (plus matching scarf) and the one Leah is wearing is from ModCloth.

Winter Wonderland

Hey everybody! I am a lazy, lazy person, I know. But yesterday was the last day of school for me until January, so I will hopefully have more time to blog this break!

Anyways, today I wanted to post about my school's Holiday show we put on last weekend. I was in three dance numbers for this show: Parade of the Wooden Soldiers (a tap dance), Waltz of the Snowflakes (an ensemble ballet piece) and Arabian Coffee (a duo acrobatic ballet piece).

Personal Panda: Recent Gets & Dance

Hey everybody! So as promised, I am back to make a post about some of my more recent gets! I went shopping with my mum as a reward for being smart, lol. I am on my school's Honour Roll, and I made it onto the Principal's Roll of Academic Excellence (or what I like to call 'The 90 Club' for keeping your average above 90 percent). So my mum told me she would take me to do some shopping!

I didn't find as much as I would have liked, but I did get a couple nice things for Winter, and I'm planning on going back soon to get some other things that I saw! Anyways, onto the gets!

Daily Style: Grey Gyaru

Hello all. I'm so sorry that I'm boring. I know you've heard it enough times already, but I am a busy person. I am trying as hard as possible to work on blog posts in addition to school! I will hopefully have my next gyaru post up in a few days. But today, I'm going to show you some of my daily style from recent days.

I don't know why, but right now I am obsessed with grey clothing. I am getting to be incredibly lazy with my clothing, and I don't feel like matching things, so I buy all clothes that match each other. And right now, it's all grey and black. So let's take a peak at some Grey gyaru!

Happy Halloween!

Hey everyone! As you all know, this weekend was Halloween! And as you may or may not know, I absolutely LOVE dressing up and costuming. I have always loved Halloween, and this year was no different!
