New York City (photos + daily style + gets!)

Hey everyone! First of all, Happy (belated) St. Patricks Day! I was going to post that yesterday, but I was pretty busy getting ready for festivities. Secondly, I am back from my trip to New York City! If you've never been to NYC, you need to go. Everything is awesome there. This was my first trip to New York, and it definitely won't be my last :D

I did way more shopping than I should have while I was there, but honestly, how could I not. The shopping in NYC is some of the best I've ever seen. I went to 4 different F21s, and 2 H&Ms! It was soo nice! But anyways, lets start with some pictures of my trip~

(view from above the clouds on the morning of our departure - SO PRETTY)

Really tiny picture of the Statue of Liberty!

Manhattan is coming into view.

Gorgeous architecture! Honestly one of my favourite parts of being in NYC was looking at all of the buildings! haha.

My cousin (who I was travelling with) is a figure collector, and she brought her Haruhi figma to take pictures in different locations. This is at dim sum in Chinatown :D

This was in Times Square. It was awesome.

This Toys R Us is amazing. There is a ferris wheel. INSIDE.

Also, this shall be my new house.

Super yummy ramen I had one night at like, 11 pm.

Same day as flight, therefore not the best look =__=

Birds in central park!

Fountain from the opening of the TV show Friends! :D

Super cool underground Apple store!

Lego C3PO at FAO Schwarz!

Lego guy made of Lego

On the Big Piano!

Nintendo store!

Big ol' Pikachu at the Nintendo store, was so cute!

Rockefeller Center

Grand Central Station (ceiling)

It was such an amazing trip, and I only wish I could have stayed longer than 4 days! But the problem with only being there for four days was that I didn't bring as much clothing as I wanted to, and I also split a suitcase with my cousin to save on funds. But anyways, here are some of my outfits from the trip!

Day One: Flight to NYC

Not the fanciest outfit really. Cardigan is A&F, jeans are from Sirens, boots are H&M, purse is Aldo

Day Two: Shopping!

Slightly more exciting! Shirt is Urban Behaviour, skirt is H&M, boots are H&M, purse is Aldo

Day Three: More Shopping!

My fave cardi! Cardigan is H&M, skirt is F21, boots are H&M, purse is Aldo

Hair from Day Three: Going Out

Day Three: Going Out!

New blouse, kind of Retro Girly and the necktie is very on trend :D Blouse is F21, skirt is Urban Behaviour, boots are Zigi

I didn't have the most exciting wardrobe packed with me, but I tried my best! And I did lots of shopping while I was there. Here are some of my gets from this trip!! :D

New granny boots, thought they'd go nicely with Retro Girly spring styles (Zigi)

Dollywink Pure Little bottom lashes, Dollywink eyelash case and NYX glitter palette. The glitter is actually for cosplay, but I've already used it like, three times!

Love this bathing suit! The colour and print are both very spring, and super cute bows on it! (H&M)

Little jewelery from F21! Heart necklace and pink pearl bracelets.

Bow tie lace shirt, super retro girly and very cute for spring! (F21)

Button front dolman sleeve blouse. You can tell I really like these off white tops. (F21)

From UNIQLO, a super cute ONE PIECE shirt. It's actually an XXS shirt from the mens section, haha!

B/W striped tee, H&M

Various styles of knee socks, H&M

Now that almost all the snow is gone, I need to start building up my Spring wardrobe! I think this was a good start, but I definitely am still hunting for some Spring trends that are on my list!

Anyways, my Retro Girly post will be up ASAP, so please look forward to it!

  6. Hey, I know that this is really late, but I'm probably going to be going back to NY soon, and I was just wondering where you picked up the Dolly Wink stuff. Did you find them at a Japanese convenience store or grocery store?
How much did you pay for the lashes?

Thanks, all the coords look great!!

  7. @Elizabeth: I picked up the DollyWink stuff at a store in Chinatown. I'm pretty sure it was called Kam Nan or something like that? When you go in, it's a grocery store on the first floor, and you go up the stairs and there's a whole cosmetics/cute things department. I got them there. The lashes were $18.99 +tax

    Thank you :D
