Gal Hobbies


Hey everybody! So, sorry I haven't been posting very much. Busy times at school and at home right now. But anyways, something occurred to me a little while back when I was indulging in the LJ-community gyaru_secrets. Do gals have hobbies other than shopping and partying? I know it's stereotypical to say that all they care about is shopping and their looks, but really, they do a lot of shopping and they spend a lot of time on their looks.


I know many of you don't know me, but I've been a ballerina going on 13 years now, and not just ballet but many types of dance, and I just got my pointe shoes today!

Anyways. Some girls who are into sports and things think that because they are so active in their sports/activity career, they don't have time to look good. But that is obviously not true. I hate to sound pretentious, but I am known around my school for my fashion, and I dance twice a day at school EVERYDAY. And I still pull it off!

Anyways, it's just something I've been wondering, because you never really hear of any gals that have hobbies like sports or dance or anything. But I guess most of them are 17+, so they don't have as much time for things like dance lessons. Unless they are actually serious about it.

How about you guys? Do any of you have hobbies?

    i always wanted to do pointe, but i can't bcuz i already have ingrown toes from dance and being in heels PLUS flat feet )= enjoy pointe while u can!

    thats an AMAZING hobby! i've always admired ballerina's for their body and elegance while doing some really tough moves.

    my hobby personally is painting and sewing!

    Although I'm not very good. = u = ''
    It's my second year on pointe... although we don't spend lots of time on it in class. ; o ; (Your shoes are so pretty and NEW looking! ^ ^ )
    But I only do ballet 2 times a week, and it's after school.... (then I also do jazz, modern and physical theatre on other days, haha~)
    So if you dance every day, and in school, that's impressive!~ * O *
