Toronto!

Hey blogders! I'm currently relaxing in a hip 'n' trendy Toronto townhouse, typing away madly on my hosts lovely silver MacBook Pro. I'm quite content! My first day in TO was absolutely fantastic. Here's why:

First and foremost, I travelled to the Blue Banana Market to check out the selection of lolita wear (located on the second floor. Look her the Her Majesty sign!)

I was ecstatic! I basically died when I saw the AP dress and the BABY skirt. First brand experience was lovely. But alas, I could definitely NOT afford any of the actual clothing! However, I was perfectly happy leaving the store with THESE!

SWIMMER Compact and Lint brush (So convenient, eh?)

Chocomint (?) necklace (mad cute!)

SWIMMER Gloves (ZOMG LOVE!)

AND!!!!

.
CRAZY HUGE OFF-BRAND EARMUFFS

I totally love these with my whole life, yeah. They are absolutely MASSIVE!

Free advertising for the Blue Banana Market! Ahahaha...

Anyways, the BBM was totally awesome. But after we went there, we drove over to the Eaton centre to shop there. And of course, I had to stop in at the Disney store, because I haven't been there in like, YEARS. And I found this, and TOTALLY purchased it.

MARIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have loved the Aristocat's ever since I was little, and so when I saw this, I basically had to have it. I died a little on the inside, I was so happy. She's so soft and cute and awesome! I love her!

Also, I shopped at F21 across from Eaton centre. SO PACKED! It was literally 100 degrees in there. Anyways, spoils!

I absolutely love everything at F21 right now, because it all works into gal style SO well. It's totally awesome. And while we're on the topic of fashion, here are the rundowns of my day and evening wear!

Hat: F21
Cardigan: AmeEagle
Tee: F21
Skirt H&M
Boots: ALDO
Jacket: Roxy
Bag: Hello Kitty (Sanrio)
Scarf: H&M

EVENING WEAR

Jacket: F21
Dress: Express
Tights: F21 (they have rhinestones on them)
Shoes: F21
Bag: Vintage (mum's)

I absolutely adore my new F21 jacket, it is so incredibly cute! I'm excited to start wearing it to school. Anyways, we went to this really awesome new restaurant that has been getting lots and lots of good reviews: TREVOR

The atmosphere is really warm and inviting, and very down to earth. Literally. It's a basement restaurant! It's has very low lighting, but there are mass amounts of candles EVERY WHERE. Seriously. Anyways, the menu is not huge, but it's very complete. I decided to order the Roast Chicken with Cheddar and Ham Hock Pierogi, Sweet Potato Puree and Buttermilk Gravy. Sounds delish, right?

Anyways, as for drinks, I had a Shirley Temple, in honour of my seeing my first lolita brand dress... Pahahahaha.

It was really yummy, and I haven't had one since I was like, six years old. Back in my yacht club days, yeah, that's right. Anyways, onto the food!

The portion wasn't huge, but it wasn't tiny either. It was actually perfect for me! As for the taste... IT WAS FABULOUS! The chicken was so yummy. The skin was really crispy and tasty, and it was on top of the puree, which gave it a really sweet taste. The pierogi was also really yummy, and it was nice and cripsy on the outside and soft on the inside! I'de give it a 4.5/5, only because I thought the puree started to over power the taste of the chicken after a while.

DEVOURED!

Anyways, for dessert, I had the Dark Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cake with Chocolate Mousse and Pretzel Ice Cream!

This was ABSOLUTELY amazing. The cake (darkest brown lump) was really warm and moist, almost like a sticky date pudding. The peanut butter (on top of cake) was really delish, and was most likely organic or homemade, because the colour is so rich, and it's really yummy! The chocolate mousse was really light, not heavy like some other mousse, but it had almost no taste to it. Just kinda like... air. And the pretzel ice cream was fantastic! The perfect balance of sweet and salty! Over all, a 4.5/5!

At the end of the meal, the gave us grape cotton candy, so props for that! Overall, I give them a 4.5/5. It was an amazing experience, and it was so delicious!

Me and mum outside Trevor!

Anyways yo, it's now one o'clock in the morning and I've ben at this since 10, so it's high time for me to stop annoying mum (pictured above) and get to sleep! Dim sum, more shopping and science centre tomorrow!

  1. I didn't know there was a lolita shop T.O. - I definitely need to visit it if/when I ever get to that side of Canada

  2. Yeah, it's actually part of store called the Blue Banana Market. The lolita section is really tiny, but it has some stuff!
