Upcoming A/W 2010 Trends

So, I haven't been the most active of bloggers recently, and I apologize for that. I really have no excuse other than pure laziness, I haven't been busy at all! I was so bummed today because I got a letter from my school regarding all my registration and fees for school. And it made me think that my summer is almost over. And that's super depressing, because I don't want to leave my lifestyle of laziness and playing Pokémon.

TL;DR, I'm a lazy person that doesn't want to go back to school.

Anyways, I decided I would touch base with some of the trends that have been showing up for Autumn and Winter 2010. It's a lot of good stuff, so have a look!

The above scan from Jelly's September issue covers quite a few of the trends, Leopard, Nordic print, and Military to name a few. This issue of Jelly did a fantastic job of showing all the trends for A/W throughout the issue (as seen in Mitsu's fantastic A/W post).

Starting from the right, Backs does leopard and bowler hats, which are a really cool, combination in my mind. Also remaining a trend this year are big nerd glasses. The classic black, vibrant colours and tortoise shell are all popular choices. In the middle, Gilfy does a nordic and ethnic blend on the sweater, paired with oxfords, as well as a bowler. Very mannish, which I think will do well this A/W. On the left, Egoist is keeping it ethnic, and pretty Summer-y.

This is a lot of fur. The larger pictures shows Spiral Girl doing the Tibetan fur trend. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of this type of fur, but it is trending none the less. Also trending is the colour olive and relaxed denim. The top left shows Swordfish, with more fur, olive cargo pants and ethnic prints. Duras has lots of Tibetan fur. Too much in my opinion.

On the top, Emoda and Murua are keeping it Mode. Emoda does sheer tops and the Military style hat. Murua is making its chain print a huge trend and using damaged denim. Another trend not shown on this page that both brands are doing are paginsu/jeggings. On the bottome, SLY does an awesome leopard blouse and beige pants with skinny suspenders. Rienda does a zebra tunic with a waist cincher belt, but neither are very big trends this A/W.

Top left is Vence, who makes good use of chino pants. Top right, WC showcases elastic waist tops. Bottom left, Glad News does lace up boots, fringe and a cute red bowler. Titty & Co. does Nordic, with a cute cropped sweater.

Lots to look forward too this A/W, but my favourite trends have got to be Nordic, Mode and Military. I love fur too, but not the Tibetan fur. I'm also a big fan of lace up boots and bowler hats, and will be sure to look out for some during my back to school shopping.

Another segment of Jelly talked about trendy bottoms for A/W. I really loved this segment, because it'll be super useful when I go shopping next. Here's the biggest trends for A/W.

Firstly, Paginsu/Jeggings/Paggings, what have you, are supposed to be a huge trend this A/W. They are also trending in North America, but the ones here aren't as cool. They just look like skinny jeans. Blah.

Next trend is Crushed/Damaged Denim. Firstly, I LOVVVVVVVVE those jeans that Maiko is wearing. Secondly, I just love this trend.

Two trends on this page; Bandage skirts on the left and High-Waist on the right. Bandage skirts are super Mode and very sleek, and they are full of awesome. They can be worn a multitude of ways, and will be very trendy this A/W. High waists are showing up every where, and I really like them. I especially like these shorts.

Anyways, that's all for my trends post today. I may come back to this topic at a later date, but I have to go and catch a cricket now. Until next time!

P.S. If you haven't entered my giveaway yet, go enter! It's easy and there's loads of cute prizes! Theres a link at the top of the side bar. Thanks!
