I actually forgot to take outfit pictures the whole time I was there, but believe me, these outfits were nothing special. It was too cold for me to wear much of the stuff I brought, so I was wearing basically the same thing everyday anyways.
Lobby at the hotel. I really liked this large ukiyo-e portrait, it made me happy :)
In Peace Plaza in Japan Town. This seems to be like the Hachiko of J-Town, so many people used it as a meeting place!
Staffers from the Baby The Stars Shine Bright store! They are so sweet! And I love their style! :D One of theses days (cough, when I have a job, cough), I'm going to build a Lolita wardrobe too.
The Golden Gate Bridge!
Augh, bad picture is bad! But anyways, me and ze bridge.
The city!
My dad takes good pictures. Haha.
Really yummy crepe! Strawberry, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce! Yum!
Next, I did something that made me very happy...
PURIKURA!
I was really excited when I found out there was a purikura shop in one of the malls in J-Town, so I obviously had to take some! It was my first time, and it was so fun!
In the booth, not containing my excitement at all.
The cute demonstrator gals!
The outside of my machine (which really did have monkey bars!! SO COOL!)
Lookie who I found! (I used this booth too.)
My first set!
Second set!
It was so fun. I wish they had purikura in my city :(
Good bye purikura store!
After that, we drove for a long time on a super slow Californian highway, until we got to Monterey! There, we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium! It was sooooo fun! I got to play with a decorator crab and bat rays! My video of the bat rays won't upload though, so I can't show you that :(
Hello fish!
Hey otter!
Hey Moon Jellies!
YAY! BIG TUNA! I love this guy. He is absolutely MASSIVE! Like, 500-600 pounds!
A school of fish.
Just petting a bat ray, no big deal.
ISN'T HE JUST THE CUTEST THING!? Bat rays are surprisingly silky :)
And that's the end of my pictures! I actually took a lot of pictures, but a lot of them aren't worth posting on here, because they are bad shots or of random things that have nothing to do with anything, or are an inside joke.
On another note, how does the idea of me doing makeup tutorials sound to you guys? Just a suggestion. Anyways, I should probably go to bed, so good night!

Ooh, cute purikura!
ReplyDeleteIf you go down to Markham / Pacific Mall, they have Purikura there! (I think that's kinda far for you though haha)
Big tuna is big! :333
@sachi: yeah, I've seen the purikura at P-Mall. I love P-Mall though, everytime I go to Toronto I have to stop there!!
ReplyDeleteMmm! That crepe looks delicious! Was it from Sophie's???
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way about the rays when I petted them. Very surprising feeling...
andddd...
I say YES to the make-up tutorials! I love reading them and it gives me a chance to try something new ^_^
Love purikura!

ReplyDelete@Kakazinha: I love purikura too!!
Hi!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say: "how cute you are *-*!!", and your purikura look so funny and amazing! Here in Italy I think we don't have them <.< plus, as I live in a small city I don't think I could ever have the opportunity to find one, gosh!
Also when I was in Paris I went to Baby store, and the shop staff was really cute there too!
Anyway I really appreciate your blog, and I enjoy reading it a lot, so keep on writing here^^
Bye, Mimi
yaaaaaay, you went to the good crepe place in J Town, Sophie's! We always go there when we head over to the city... so obligatory :)
