Major Hair Change! :O

Hey guys! So I'm sorry I've been a terrible blogger lately :( As some of you may or may not know, I was participating in my schools production of Phantom of the Opera (which was an incredible success, as we completely sold out all 17 of our shows!), and then the week after we finished I spent everyday catching up on all of the school work I missed, which included 6 chemistry and biology classes =____=;;. But I'm coming to the end of my spring break now, and I'm quite well rested and ready to talk about a big change thats happened to me recently!

I am absolutely in love with it :D I think it was an awesome choice, although I may be regretting it in a month or so, but I honestly don't even care. I've had to deal with so many people staring, but I expected that and I'm kind of used to it already, haha. Only downside is that I can only wash my hair with cold water now :( BLAH.

I haven't really had anything important to blog about lately because I've been so busy, but hopefully things will pick up now that I'm less occupied! Cosplay posts will definitely become more frequent as I (finally) start working on my cosplays for Anime North! :D

Anyways, I've had a long day of road trippin' around, so I'm gonna hit the hay! Hopefully another post soon :3

Daily Style: Florals! (+ some gets)

Hey y'all! So today was my first day off form rehearsal in a very long while, and I've been taking great advantage of it by sleeping a relaxing all day! I also did a little bit of shopping this afternoon as well, and I'll show you a couple of my gets in a bit! But first I want to show an outfit I wore for a friend's birthday dinner a little while ago.

Happy Valentine's Day! (LUSH!)

First order of business, Happy Valentine's Day! I'm celebrating my seventeenth straight single Valentine's day this year! (Forever alone... ; ^ ; lol). I've made it through the day! But not without a few choice products from Lush's Valentine's day collection!

Chou Chou... I Love You! Toothy Tabs 

Magic Mushroom Bubble Bar

I already plan on going back to Lush to try and scoop up any leftover Vday products! I sent my sister a nice fat slice of their Sweetheart soap as well, and bought these goodies for myself. :D

Toothy Tabs, for those of you who don't know, are solid toothpaste tablets! To use, you place a tablet in your mouth, break it up with your teeth, and then brush with a wet toothbrush! They are very convenient, and work surprisingly well! I've tried about 4 of the regular flavours, but I am absolutely in LOVE with the Valentine's day ones! They have the same fragrance/taste as the Rose Jam bubbleroon and Ro's Argan Body Conditioner, which is a gorgeous Turkish rose and lemon. They truly leave your breath smelling like roses! It's quite different from your standard mint, but I can't get enough of this flavour! I'll have to stock up before they sell out :3

The Magic Mushroom bubble bar is a returning favourite, and that's no surprise! It has a gorgeous strawberry-vanilla scent, and it just looks so cute! With about half of the bar, you get mountains of creamy strawberry bubbles, and its just absolute heaven! Especially after a long day at rehearsals =____=;; Another product I hoping to stock up more of, but this product always sells out so quickly! I hope I can snatch up another couple this weekend ><

And yes, I spent my whole Valentine's day at school, then rehearsal all night! Such is the life I lead ;__; Phantom of the Opera opens next Friday, so the pressures really on now! I've been at rehearsal every night after school until 10:30 pm for the last two weeks, and its really starting to take a toll on me! I miss the days where I just got to sleep all the time :'D But it'll be over before I know it, and that'll be a little sad!

Anyways, I have some chemistry homework to finish up, so I'll leave y'all for now! I want to post again soon, hopefully in the next couple of days?

Wigs!

Hey guys! How good of me, blogging two days in a row! :D I'm on a roll right now! Woo!

Anyways, today my second wig arrived in the mail! I was super stoked when I got home from rehearsals, because I was chattering endlessly to people about how excited I was for Anime North and the cosplays I was doing today. So I immediately took it out and tried it on, because when I get a new wig, that's just what I do. So I'm gonna share some photos of my two new wigs, and do some mini-reviews of the eBay sellers that I bought them from!

This was the first wig to arrive. This is for my Melty cosplay, which I am doing for the Saturday of Anime North. The eBay seller I ordered this from is cos-wig. They are located in China, and have 99.6% positive feedback!

The estimated shipping time was between 14 and 20 business days, and it got here in 13! So I was very pleased about that. The wig was packaged well too, in a bubble envelope. The wig was in a wig net, inside of a plastic bag, and came with one of those free black mesh hair nets, which I actually like quite a bit! The seller also packed a little business card in with the wig, which I really liked, since I'll remember to buy from them again! Also, shipping was free and this wig only cost me $24! It's a little thin in a few spots but it's not noticeable unless you are looking directly down on top of my head, hahaha. The fibers are really soft too!

The second wig to arrive is for my Gumi cosplay! This wig was from a seller on eBay named yucui2008. Another seller from China, with 99.7% positive feedback! This wig was $21, and came with free shipping as well.

The estimated shipping time for this one was 15 to 25 business days, and it came in 15, so spot on! This wig was a little less well packaged, as it was not mailed in a bubble envelope, but the bag they sent it in was made of a thick plastic and was well sealed! This wig also came in a wig net inside a plastic bag, and more black mesh hair nets! >:D wahaha. They also sent me a pair of earrings as a free gift, which was very nice! The wig looks a little bit different from the picture they had on the listing, but it's a marginal difference. It's also a little bit more lime-y in colour than I thought it would be, but I'm okay with that! This wig is also really soft, and looks like it'll be super easy to manage :D I'm just going to have to trim the longer parts in the front, since I find them to be a little too long.

I've always had good experiences ordering my cosplay wigs from eBay, although I've heard lots of peoples horror stories about ordering from eBay as well. But usually if they have a really high positive feedback percentage, they are pretty good! I only order if they have something in the 99% or higher ^^.

Anyway, that's all for today! I need to go to bed now, since second semester starts tomorrow (well, I guess today now LOL), and I've got class at 7:40 AM ;__;.

Personal Panda: Let's Get Physical!

Hey everybody! :D Hope y'all had a pleasant day!

So today is February 1st, and it's four months until my favourite convention of the year: ANIME NORTH! I'm really looking forward to this year, as I'm doing not one but two cosplays in a weekend, which is a first for me! I'm also planning on participating in some panels, and I might even be running a workshop! More details to come on that though ;)

Speaking of cosplay, I received the first of my two wigs yesterday, for my Melty cosplay! If you follow me on Tumblr or have liked my fan page, you probably have seen the picture I took of it! If not, I'll actually blog about them once I have both wigs in my possession as to not clog my blog with wig posts :3 Hoping for the second wig to arrive sometime this week!

And now, in relation to the title of this post! I decided a while ago that I wanted to actually get into better shape for this Anime North, but wanted to wait until after the Holiday season (- w - ) harhar... So I decided, February 1st, I'm beginning my "Let's Look Good for Cosplay" training! :D Although it really isn't training...

I'm not going to lie, I have pretty terrible eating habits, and don't exercise as often as I probably should. So I've decided to make some goals for myself to look better for Anime North! I'm not really aiming to lose any weight since I'm perfectly okay with where I am weight-wise, but I could 100% use some toning up =____=;; So here are a few of the things I plan to do to reach my goals!

• Drink 8 glasses of water a day (optimally ice cold!)
• Stop eating past 9 PM (SO BAD, I AM EATING LASAGNA RIGHT NOW :| AND IT IS ALMOST 1 AM)
• Cut out all junk foods and sodas from my diet (I'm so addicted... T___T)
• Drink more tea 
• Eat more regular meals (I'm notorious for skipping breakfast... and lunch ; ^ ;)
• Cut out all unnecessary sugars from my diet (that's going to be so hard...)
• Do regular toning exercises (at least five times a week)
• Spend less time on computer/video games (; ^ ;)
• Stretch everyday before dance classes (I'm losing my flexibility!)

It's not much, but it's a start! :D The hardest part is going to be adjusting my eating habits. Especially eating regular meals. I'm always late for school, so I rarely every eat breakfast, and I never have time to make lunch and I don't really like my school's food... ^^;; I know, excuses, excuses. But I'm going to try to at least get breakfast every day! And cutting sodas... I drink so much Coke, it's ridiculous. Like, people shouldn't be allowed to drink this much Coke. So I'm only going to allow myself one a week, if I really am craving it that badly!

Exercise won't be a problem for me since I have dance class everyday anyways, now I'll just add some toning exercises when I get home! :) But spending less time on the computer... oi... That's gonna be a hard one! But hopefully toning exercises will fill up that time xD Plus I'm going to be rehearsing and performing in Phantom of the Opera almost everyday in February, so that's at least one month where I'll be less computer active xD

I'm also aiming to improve my overall skin health so that I can look good in photos too! :D I plan on going to Lush and getting a new skin care regime going, since I've run out of toner and moisturizer and have been too busy to go get new ones ; ^ ;. I'm hoping to order some cotton masks as well that I can use. I've used them before and really liked them! Do any of you guys have a mask that you really like? I've tried the My Beauty Diary ones before, but no others! I'm definitely looking for recommendations! :D

So starting today, I will be trying to get healthier and look better! :D Wish me luck on this journey, haha!
